The Four Seasons Commission
The Gutmann family castle also houses the family business--Gutmann Brewery. The Gutmanns commissioned Shoshanna to create a series of pastel paintings depicting the castle at each of the four seasons. All of the paintings were painted plein-air in Titting, Bavaria. With the exception of Winter, all pastel paintings were completed entirely on location.
Woodley Park Guest House Commission
In 2007, the Woodley Park Guest House in Washington, DC commissioned Shoshanna to create a series of twelve small still life paintings for their Bed & Breakfast Inn. Later when they opened a second inn in Washington, they commissioned additional larger landscape and architectural pastel paintings for both inns.
